Halal Certificate gives assurance that the products are thoroughly checked in accordance with the Islamic Shariah Laws by the concerned board. It is necessary for the producers to ensure their products sell/export are Halal certified with Halal seal to be accept and buy by Halal consumers/buyers.

HalMQ, a system based Halal requirements that is benchmarked against international ISO and HACCP standard, has since been made compulsory by Majlis Ugama Islam Singapore (Muis) for compliance by all Muis Halal applicants/certificates holders effective 1 January 2010 to meet rising expectations of Muslim consumers and ensure Halal compliance.

Why is Halal certification important?
