WHO SHOULD ATTEND

WSH Personnel, Line Supervisors, Team Leaders or Managers.

This 7-hour workshop participants will acquire the knowledge and awareness for work at height in compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Legislations. This course also entails compliance to the Workplace Safety and Health (Risk Management) & (Work at Heights) Regulations.

  1. WSH Act, WAH & RM regulations
  2. Risk Assessment and hazard identification and control measures for WAH
  3. Individual Fall Protection equipment and First line Response in emergency
  4. PTW System for WAH
  5. Fall Prevention Plan (FPP) & its components, including emergency response for WAH

  • Face-to-face workshop with active learning environment

Certification

Certificate of Attendance will be awarded for participant who:

  • With 100% attendance

Learning Outcomes

  1. Have an in depth knowledge of their organisational products /services
  2. Have an in depth knowledge of their organizational safety management system
  3. Have an in depth skills and knowledge in hazard identification, risk assessment and risk management as well as the hierarchy of risk control measures
  4. Be self-directed and proactive towards problem-solving of safety and health issues
  5. Have an in-depth knowledge on sources of workplace hazards
  6. Have good presentation skills
  7. Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills (ESS) Level 4
  8. Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills (ESS) Level 4
