SS 506 PART 1
Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Management Standard for General Industries
In Singapore, industries are subjected to legislated safety and health management system (SHMS) audit at a determined interval. The SHMS audit must be conducted in accordance with the relevant WSH legislation and guidelines set out for each industry. The audit must evaluate the SHMS based on the Workplace Safety & Health Act and its subsidiary legislation, as well SS 506: Part 1 requirements.

The Singapore Standard (SS) on OSH Management Systems, SS 506 consists of the following parts:
- Part 1 – Requirements
- Part 2- Guidelines for the implementation of SS506: Part 1
