Learning Outcomes

On completion of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Describe the purpose of an Occupational Safety and Health Management System , including its principles, processes and techniques used for the assessment of risk and the significance of these in Occupational Safety and Health Management System
  • Explain the scope of Occupational Safety and Health Management System Standards, and , where applicable, other criteria ( e.g. OSH Legislation and customer OSH requirements) against which an OSH Internal audit could be performed
  • Describe the responsibilities of an internal auditor
  • Describe the role of internal audit in the maintenance and improvement of a management system
  • Plan, conduct, report, verify an internal audit of part of a management system

Certification

100% attendance is required. Learners shall complete 2 short quizzes and participate in practical audit activities Successful learners will receive Certificate of Successful Completion.
